Safe Packaging Guide for Retailers
The Doughnut Peddler can make available a supply of semi-clear bags to retail partners who would like to package doughnuts individually. This is not currently a requirement, nor the recommended process to merchandise our products for sale at this time. For those partners who opt to display product in this fashion, we offer the following guide to our recommended store packaging process.

Preferred Option: Packaging Process with Tape
Step 1. Gather packaging supplies. Put on gloves prior to handling any product or packaging materials.
Step 2. With the logo side down if using a branded bag, slide doughnut gently into bag to avoid smearing.
Step 3. Turn doughnut upside down and fold bag over. If bag is branded, logo should be visible on bottom side of doughnut.
Step 4. Use single strip of tape to hold fold closed. This will help maintain the presentation in the case as the consumer handles the product.
Step 5. Turn doughnut right-side up to check that wrapping looks presentable.
Step 6. Organize packaged doughnuts, six on each tray.
Step 7. Once trays are placed inside the bakery display case, the final presentation can look like this.
Alternative Option: Packaging Process without Tape
